Energy Minister Highlights Africa’s Investment Potential at Gastech 2025
Earlier today, the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, was a Panellist at Gastech 2025, discussing “Powering Growth & Prosperity in High Potential Economies Through Widened Access to Affordable, Reliable, and Flexible Energy.”
He stressed the need for energy policies that are framed at a continental level, focusing on initiatives that drive progress and collaboration across Africa.
Citing Ghana’s experience, the Minister highlighted importing gas from Nigeria for power generation and exporting electricity to neighbouring countries like Burkina Faso, Togo, and Benin as examples of regional cooperation.
