Purpose of the Manual
Your guide to information held by the Ministry.
This manual informs and assists the public on the organizational structure, responsibilities and activities of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition (MoEn>), and outlines the types and classes of information available — including the location and contact details of its Information Officers and Unit.
Under Section 80 of the Act, the right applies to information which came into existence before, or which will come into existence after, the commencement of the Act.

How to submit an RTI request

Submit Application
Complete the Standard RTI Request Form (Appendix A) and submit at the Ministry’s Information Unit, by post, or by email.

Acknowledgement
The Information Officer acknowledges receipt and assigns a reference number for tracking.

Processing (Section 23)
A decision is issued within 14 days of receipt, extendable in limited circumstances as provided by the Act.

Access to Information
Approved information is released in the manner requested — inspection, copy, transcript, or electronic format.
Section 4
Amendment of Personal Record
A person may apply in writing to correct or delete inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or out-of-date personal information held by the Ministry.

Section 5
Fees & Charges
Under Section 75 of the Act, Parliament approves the fees that public institutions may charge for access to information. Applicable fees cover reproduction, transcription, and delivery of records.
