Energy Minister Inaugurates a 10-Member Expert Panel

The Minister of Energy and Green Transition has inaugurated a 10-member panel of energy sector experts tasked with ensuring continuous stability in the country’s power sector.

During the inauguration, the Minister expressed confidence in the panel’s expertise and pledged the Ministry’s full support and guidance in carrying out their mandate. The panel has been directed to conduct a comprehensive review of the operations, procedures, and manuals of the wholesale electricity market.

Chairman of the panel, Mr. Samuel Sarpong, assured that the group’s activities will strictly adhere to the newly approved market rules, as well as existing policies and regulations governing the sector.
