Energy Ministry Engages Stakeholders on New NPA Bill

The Ministry of Energy today led a major stakeholders’ engagement on the draft National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Bill, which seeks to repeal and replace the National Petroleum Authority Act, 2005 (Act 691) as amended by Act 913.

The proposed bill aims to reform the downstream petroleum sector by strengthening regulation, improving compliance, and addressing emerging challenges and opportunities within the industry.
